Quip Glow is an expansion of the kids toothbrush line using glow-in-the-dark ADA-compliant materials. While this may seem like a simple execution, it involved a lot of material sampling rounds with the manufacturer to fine-tune the perfect look.

There are many ways to apply a phosphorescent material to Quip’s kids brush, and we explored 8 different combinations and 6 color options. The process involved evaluating the combinations and determining which colors glowed the strongest.

2 colors rose to the top, and were immediately accepted by retailers. Custom packaging was created in order to showcase the new product and it’s glow-in-the-dark feature.
